Application area of the BX 52RS hydraulic wood shredder:

The new Victory BX-52RS is a very powerful and robust, yet easy-to-handle wood shredder with hydraulic feed for material up to 15 cm diameter. The scope of delivery of the BX-52RS wood chipper includes a PTO shaft with safety shear bolt as well as Cat I upper and lower link pins.

For optimal working results of the wood chipper, your tractor should have about 30 to 60 HP and a PTO speed between 540 and 1000 rpm.

The direct PTO drive of the wood chipper rotates a newly designed 42 kg heavy and carefully balanced rotor disc, on which four reversible knives made of hardened tool steel are mounted. The fast-spinning rotor cuts the wood up to 67 times per second depending on the PTO speed and generates a strong air suction with the impellers mounted on the back, which transports the shredded material out of the discharge chute.

The hydraulically tractor-hydraulics-driven and flexibly mounted feed roller is equipped with several rows of metal teeth and ensures reliable feeding even of wet wood. Even smaller branch forks are time-savingly compressed by the hydraulics of the BX-52RS wood shredder, so you can save yourself cutting open most branch forks. The completely newly designed roller guide allows efficient adjustment to various branch diameters.

The wood is shredded into approximately 1 to 3 cm pieces depending on the setting of the counter knife and the selected feed speed of the hydraulics and is thrown out by the strong air suction of the rotor equipped with impellers, making clogging almost impossible.

For difficult materials such as fir branches, bamboo or reeds, 750 or 1000 rpm working speeds can also be used, provided your tractor has this PTO speed.

Technology of the hydraulic BX-52RS wood shredder:

The new Victory BX-52RS wood shredder / wood chipper naturally features a double-sided suspension of the feed roller. This allows fast but also comfortable working.

The large safety bar is used to operate the hydraulic function and controls both direction and speed (FORWARD – BACK – STOP) of the feed in conjunction with a hydraulic valve, so that clogs can almost always be cleared by the "reverse gear".

With the steplessly adjustable feed speed of the wood chipper, the shredding performance can be very easily adapted to the type and diameter of the wood. Smaller diameters can be fed and shredded faster by the wood shredder than larger diameters.

Your tractor only requires a hydraulic pressure line and a non-pressurized return. Special control devices on the tractor are not necessary!

The discharge chute of the wood chipper can be rotated by 230 degrees. The discharge angle is adjustable. The shredded material can be thrown up to 6 m far. Loading trailers, containers or big bags is targeted and possible. The capacity is approximately 7-8m³/h depending on the type of wood.

The new foldable and very wide 66 cm feed hopper can be easily operated via the safety bar, which is easily accessible from all sides.

For transport of the wood shredder, the hopper can be easily folded up by one person and secured without tools. With the BX-52RS wood shredder, access to the rotor and knives is gained by loosening only one screw, allowing maintenance work to be carried out quickly and easily.

Due to the strong suction of the rotor equipped with additional specially shaped impellers, clogging of the BX-52RS is almost impossible. Since the hydraulic feed roller can also rotate backwards at any time, clogs can be effectively cleared in the shortest possible time.
