Application of the stump grinder:

By removing roots and tree stumps from your garden, excavators and tractors can cause big and expensive damage to your garden and paved areas.
The Victory GSF-1500 is a powerful stump grinder and root grinder with a 14hp VANGUARD 4-stroke petrol engine. The stump grinder cuts out tree stumps precisely and even tricky roots will be extracted in minutes without causing any damage.

Technology of the stump grinder:

The GSF-1500 stump grinder is powered by an extremely robust 408cc VANGUARD (Briggs&Stratton) petrol engine with 14hp. Because of the durable yet leight weight design, the stump grinder offers flexibility and independance for your jobs, even in difficult terrains.

Choosing the right engine is very important. Most stump grinders use low-cost engines, such as those made by Loncin. These engines do not have a pressure circulation lubrication system and are not suitable for use on slopes. Steeper inclines therefore result in an inadequate oil supply to the engine and will sooner or later cause engine failure. Why is this still important, even if you don’t work on slopes at all? No tree is cut flush with the surrounding ground. The larger the tree, the more likely it is to have lateral roots extending above the ground. The higher up the tree is cut, the more at an angle a stump grinder must be positioned to grind the stump from top to bottom. Victory therefore only uses engines suitable for 45° slopes. This ensures a long service life for the engine, even if you have no intention of working on slopes. Compact machines such as the GSF-1500 or GSF-2000pro are not only narrow at 75cm but also relatively short. When trees are felled well above ground level, this inevitably leads to the engine being at an angle, a situation that only engines with pressure circulation lubrication can cope with. That is why Victory uses only Vanguard engines with a 3-year manufacturer’s warranty from Briggs & Stratton for the GSF-1500 and GSF-2000pro.
